Hogh Named to Academic All-District Team
Friday, November 9, 2012|
District 4 consists of all NCAA colleges and universities in Pennsylvania. To be nominated for the team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore
with a 3.3 cumulative grade-point average and a starter or significant reserve on his or her team.
Hogh will now advance to the national ballot for Academic
All-America consideration.
An accounting major and business administration minor, Hogh has lined up at both tight end and fullback this season, primarily in a blocking role. His playing time in scrimmage situations has increased
considerably over the last four games, during which the Mules have averaged 445.5 yards and 38.8 points while going 4-0. Hogh also has caught three passes
for 26 yards, with all three receptions going for first downs (including one on fourth down).
A core special teams player all season, Hogh has made three tackles on kickoff coverage and returned a blocked punt 35 yards for a touchdown against Johns Hopkins.
