Ronald Christian recently offered a spoken word performance as part of Muhlenberg's 2016 MLK Jr. Week Chapel Service celebration.
Ronald Christian ’16 knows what it means to serve one’s community. As co-president of the Black Students Association, a Multicultural Liaison and a Multicultural Ambassador, he is a voice for understanding, respect and caring at Muhlenberg.
Reflecting on Muhlenberg's community, Ron says, “We form this bond, where people from different backgrounds, different cultures, we all come together, and we love each other. We genuinely enjoy each other, and we support each other.”
In addition to his stellar service to his fellow students, this Baltimore, Md. native suits up as #90, a defensive end for the Mules. A graduate of Milford Mill Academy, he was an all-county high school defensive end and team captain and recorded his first career fumble recovery for Muhlenberg in last season’s closing game against Moravian.
A singer in the InAcchord a cappella group and a theatre major with minors in Africana studies and creative writing, Ron exemplifies the multi-talented, multi-tasking nature of a Muhlenberg student. How does he pull it all off?
“The support of my friends and their understanding of what I do," says Ron, "that’s what really makes everything possible.”
