Muhlenberg College partners with other institutions to offer several cooperative programs that link the degree program at Muhlenberg to second degrees at larger institutions. For instance, our Muhlenberg College/Drexel University College of Medicine 4-4 Early Assurance Program enables our students to move directly from Muhlenberg to medical school after graduating, while the Muhlenberg College/Columbia University 3/2 or 4/2 Dual Degree Engineering Program offers students the ability to earn both a B.S. degree from Muhlenberg College and a B.S. in engineering from Columbia University.

In applying for a cooperative program, you may apply Early Decision or Regular Decision.  However, if you apply Early Decision, you are indicating your intention to enroll at Muhlenberg whether you are approved for the cooperative program or not (i.e., you might be admitted to Muhlenberg, but not to the Drexel 4-4 Medical Program, or admitted to Muhlenberg, but not to the Penn 3-4 Dental Program).

  • For four of the programs, you must apply to Muhlenberg before Jan. 1 of your senior year in high school.
  • A personal interview with Muhlenberg College Admissions is required for these programs, and must be completed before Jan. 1 of your senior year.
  • In addition, each program has specific requirements and supplemental application materials. Be sure to read the program-specific pages carefully.
  • For two programs, including the Temple Med Program, students apply during spring of their junior year at Muhlenberg.
