In this wildly warm-hearted musical, you finish the story that Charles Dickens didn’t! Based on the novel of the same name, Rupert Holmes’s Tony Award-winning musical uses the world of music hall and melodrama as the backdrop for the exploits of the Theatre Royale Music Hall Company, as the actors attempt to complete the unfinished story of Edwin Drood.

The story itself deals with John Jasper, a Jekyll-and-Hyde choirmaster who is quite madly in love with his music student, the fair Miss Rosa Bud. Miss Bud, in turn, is engaged to Jasper’s nephew, young Edwin Drood. Edwin disappears mysteriously one stormy Christmas Eve. Has he been murdered? And if so, then whodunnit? It is here, however, that Mr. Dickens laid down his pen for good, and the actors must turn to the audience to decide how the play will end.
