Gail Eisenberg is currently the Internship Director for the Accounting, Business and Economics Department and a Lecturer in Business Administration. Gail received her BA from LaSalle University and her MBA from Lehigh University (both degrees with honors). Prior to teaching at Muhlenberg College, Gail worked for five years in industry in Marketing and in Applied Economics. Her current areas of teaching are in Marketing, Marketing Research and Marketing in Not-for-Profit Organizations. Gail is best known for the many service-learning projects her classes have done for different departments on campus and in the community. Her Marketing in Not-for-Profit Organizations class held an annual Ten Thousand Villages fair trade festival sale on campus for eight years (highest revenue of any college in North America).  Now, that class partners with The Literacy Center. Her Marketing Research class has done projects for Sodexo, ABE Department, Alumni Relations Department, Development Department, Wescoe School, Athletic Department, as well as many community organizations.  In recognition of her service to the community and to Muhlenberg College Gail was the recipient of the Alumni Association of Muhlenberg College Tricorn Award and the Pearl and Julian Newhart Faculty Prize. Gail has published articles and presented at national conferences in the areas of marketing pedagogy, service-learning pedagogy, economic impact methodology, gender wage gap, and non-profit administration.  Gail Eisenberg is currently conducting a historical study of the local garment industry during the 20th century.  She is conducting oral histories with the owners of these factories who still reside in the community.  Gail is doing this research with a colleague in the History Department.
