Phi Sigma Sigma takes first place in the "Women of Influence Project" competition.
The purpose of the project was to "focus is about the connections the
chapter has to advancing women – not only Phi Sigma Sigma sisters but also other
female students, staff, or faculty. There are many untold stories that a chapter
of Phi Sigma Sigma is connected to where a female on the campus has notable
successes in their career or life experiences." The task was to create a
presentation explaining women's experiences on its campus, and how womanhood
has grown through Phi Sigma Sigma membership and beyond.
Phi Sigma Sigma was awarded $2500 from its national philanthropy, the Phi Sigma Sigma foundation, to put toward its newly created Scholarship fund.
