Move-in for first-year residential students begins at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2013.
Traffic in and around campus that morning follows a particular pattern in order to get you to your residence hall and unloaded quickly and efficiently. You may download a copy of the Traffic Pattern Move-in Map to assist you.
Upon arrival, you should go to the lobby of your residence hall to check in and retrieve your room key. The driver of your vehicle must stay with the vehicle.
Once your vehicle is in front of your residence hall, upperclass students will be on hand to assist you in taking items from your vehicle to your assigned room. It greatly aids the process if all of your items are clearly marked with your name and room assignment, This is most easily done with masking tape and a permanent marker.
Once you have gotten your items up to your room and settled in a little, you need to pick up your Orientation Weekend materials at the Welcome Center, located in the Light Lounge of the Seegers Union between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Tickets for the family luncheon are also available at the Welcome Center.
Are you a Commuter? You may pick up your Orientation Weekend materials at the Welcome Center, located in the Light Lounge of the Seegers Union any time between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Tickets for the family luncheon are also available at the Welcome Center.
