MEET THE DIETITIAN

Sue Hurd Susan Hurd is a Registered Dietitian with over 22 years experience in commercial food service, health, and wellness arenas. Susan adds another dimension to the Dining Services program at Muhlenberg by assisting with the nutrition and wellness needs of our students, faculty and staff. Additionally, Susan works closely with our Health Services team to ensure the health and safety of our customers.

She received her Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and completed her Dietetic Internship with the Wood Company, now known as Sodexo. Susan's vast experiences in food and nutrition education enable her to relate the science of nutrition to the general public in an easily understandable format.

Food Allergies, Intolerances & Medical Concerns

Are you allergic to any foods? Have a gluten intolerance? All students with special dietary needs are required to register with Disability Services. To contact the Student Health Center Director, please call 484.664.3199. Once you have done so, our culinary team can assist you with your special dietary requirements. Currently we offer a wide variety of products designed for those with allergies. Please contact our Executive Chef, Michael Brack, at mbrack@muhlenberg.edu or any member of our staff so we can help you.

Vegetarian

Vegan vegetarian We are committed to offering a variety of vegetarian options everyday at all locations. The Wood Dining Commons features vegetarian options that are marked on the digital menu boards with the green Vegan and orange Vegetarian icons. Also, the GQ, Java Joe, Mule Express and LSC Cafe each offer unique Vegetarian options.


 

Zero Trans-Fat Oil

All of our food products are cooked with zero trans-fat oil.
